The Succubus

I’m enveloped in a deep blue aura,

Offering me a pure sense of comfort.

Light cushions my skin like velvet flora,

And I forget my heart is maimed and hurt.

She beckons me with dark alluring eyes,

And parts her lips with a sensual grace.

Silk sheets barely cling to her waist and thighs,

Still her hands reach up to caress my face.

A turbulent sea rages in her stare,

And parted lips reveal lustful cravings.

Emaciated, with skin thin and bare,

And her touch telling me where my grave is.

Terror embodies me but is numbed by shame,

I’d lie with the dead, again and the same.
