Tell Me, What's On Your Mind?

Who needs a kind soft-spoken therapist,

That, with great intent, brings pen to paper.

But digress to writing their grocery list,

Trying to decide on tonight’s supper.

Why have another body across you,

When all you need is a great empty wall.

A solid wall to fiercely stare into,

Boring a hole to climb into and fall.

The wall displays my past, present, future.

The wall is a web of my mind and heart.

The wall reveals my truest nature.

The wall is myself as a work of art.

I’m not saying therapy is useless,

But your own thoughts are far from meaningless.
