No one will save us
Because we look perfectly fine.
We’ve been exerting energy for millennia,
But in a slice of a nanosecond,
We collapse.
We seem frozen in time,
Trapped in this event horizon.
When in fact, we’re being swallowed,
Unsure of when we took our last breath.
Bringing everything close into our chaos -
Yet hardly noticed by the universe.
